STORM has developed various promotional items that usually provide the STORM logo, website address, and motto or mission statement. These are distributed at regional and local events as a method of attracting the attention of event attendees, allowing STORM members an opportunity for attendees to participate in members' stormwater programs. Promotional items developed include, but are not limited to: pencils; pens; refrigerator magnets; magnetic clips; bags on board.

STORM is available to attend regional events to provide education and opportunities for event attendees to participate in STORM's program. These events are usually attended by members from several communities providing a regional approach to the education and participation aspects of members' programs. These events are effective providing opportunities for question and answer, including games where event handouts are distributed by answering trivia questions.

Events that STORM has attended include, but are not limited to:

• Arizona Water Expos
• ADOT Freeway Openings
• Capitol Building (education for State legislative personnel)
• Day at the Zoo
• Home & Garden Expos

STORM members often hold local events that provide them an opportunity to target event attendees from their own communities. Members can reserve the STORM banners and are provided with an allotment of promotional items for distribution.

• Sporting Events
• Local Concerts
• Mall Events
