Program Summary
The Clean Water Act (CWA) was amended in 1987 and requires that all Cities of substantial size obtain a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit and enact a Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP).
The City of Avondale remains in compliance and has enacted a SWMP that consists of several BMP's. The following are a few of the ongoing BMP's the City is implementing:
